Andrew Duchon's Home Page
Welcome
to my old home page. I was a postodoctoral research associate in the Department
of Cognitive and Linguistic Sciences interested in the control of locomotion:
from on-line visual control of steering to higher navigation. After a couple
of years studying robot
control laws using optic flow, I did my dissertation here on the visual
information humans use to control steering. As a post-doc, I began work on visual
strategies for navigation. I was then the Director of Technology at Simpli.com, a company found by a few of us in this department and now a subsidiary of NetZero.
