The Tarr Lab is looking for participants for experiments in visual object recognition. Each session takes about 45 min and participants are paid $7 per session. Available times are generally M-F, 9-5, although evenings and weekends are also available. Please email tarrlab@brown.edu.

 

Participants will be needed throughout the 2006-07 school year in the Brown Speech Lab for an experiment in speech perception.  The experiment involves listening to vowels, and pressing buttons to identify them.  It lasts about 30 minutes, and participants are paid $5.  If interested, please email andrew_wallace@brown.edu to schedule a time.

 

The Auditory Lab is running experiments that involve listening to sounds and making judgements about them. We are located in Metcalf Research 001A in the basement. Participants are paid $7/hour for their time and most experiments last 1 hour. Available times are usually 10-5 weekdays. The Sloman Lab is looking for participants for experiments concerning causal decision-making. The experiments are short questionnaires that take 10-15 minutes to complete. Participants will be paid at $8 per hour or can use to enter a lottery. If interested, please e-mail jessica_greenbaum@brown.edu to schedule a time.

 

The VENlab is looking for participants for our Virtual Reality studies. Experiments are 1-2 hour and participants are paid $8 per hour. Participants must be 18 or older, with normal or corrected vision, and not be prone to motion sickness. If interested, please email
