Research Assistant Cognitive Neuroscience of Memory and Executive Function A Research Assistant position is available in the Department of Cognitive and Linguistic Sciences at Brown University in Providence, RI. The lab conducts cognitive neuroscience research on memory and executive function, with particular focus on the function and organization of the prefrontal cortex. Methods used in the lab include behavioral testing, functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), and the testing of patient populations. Responsibilities would include experimental design and development, recruitment and testing of experimental subjects, data analysis, and lab administration. Preference will be given to applicants with a background in cognitive science, psychology, or related fields. Computer programming skills or experience conducting fMRI or neuropsychological experiments are desirable but not a requirement for the position.
