To/From Wedding
The closest airports are Richmond (15 minutes), Newport News (90 minutes), and Norfolk (about 2hours). Reagan Airport (formerly Washington National) & Dulles Airport are about 2+ hours north, depending on traffic. Richmond is served by AMTRAK. Ticket prices can vary dramatically from airport to airport, so we recommend that you compare fares and convenience.
From Airport to Hotel
Taxicabs are available at the airport for transportation to the hotel. We recommend Groome Transportation. They are located near baggage claim and offer service to the Omni Hotel for $16 for one person or $23 for two This fee can be billed to your hotel room.
During Wedding
We have arranged transportation to all of the events for those of you who do not have a car.
Accommodations:
We have reserved a block of rooms at the Omni Richmond Hotel for a discounted rate of $123.09 per room. You must book by April 1st to receive the discounted rate. Make sure you let them know that you are with the Fernbach/Slater Wedding when you call to make your reservation. The hotel contact information is below:
