When I'm not doing computational linguistics, I like to go sailing. There's a lot of great sailing stuff available on the Web; my goal here is to collect material that's specialized to Narragansett Bay. If you have more Narragansett Bay sailing related material, let me know.

Bristol Yacht Club. The easiest (but not necessarily the fastest) way to BYC from Providence is to take Route 114 from I-95 through Barrington to Bristol, and turn right onto Poppasquash Rd just as you enter Bristol. BYC is marked as a `+' on the map.

Nelson was a professor at Brown University who (together with Henry Kucera) created the Brown Corpus which revolutionized Computational Linguistics. He was also a keen sailor, and, apparently, a good poet as well.
